  We had an old oil furnace when we moved into our house about 9 years ago and we always used Quickflash for maintenance, oil delivery and repairs. They kept that thing going for the past 9 years and have always been great.
  
  The time finally came this year when the old furnace and oil tank told me they were done working. Packing their bags, they said, we're moving to Florida, it's too cold here in Wisconsin. I completely understood, so I called Quickflash to weigh my options... continue with a new oil furnace or convert to natural gas. Dane came out, took a look at my situation and gave me a bunch of options to think through. It was really nice, all options given came with a clear price that included everything needed in each scenario. The oil to gas conversions were the most work, including removal of the old oil tank, furnace, fuel lines, adding a chimney liner, patching the old holes for the tank, running new gas lines, new electrical, new exhaust for the gas furnace, new duct work to connect to existing ducts, and I'm sure even more things.
  
  I liked the idea of being more efficient, and a little cleaner in my home heating, so we did the oil to gas conversion, and went with a high efficiency gas furnace. I love tech, so I upgraded the thermostat to a wifi Honeywell T6 Pro, probably my favorite part of the new install. Anyways, Dane came back out to the house to do a little paperwork and snap some photos of the new project, and get some measurements, so his install team would have a good plan before they even arrived.
  
  Side note: Quickflash took the remaining oil out of may tank, and gave me a very fair price back for the remaining oil. I thought I was going to be completely out on the oil that was left in my tank. We were also having some issues with our old oil furnace and tank, and just had a repair done. They completely waved the $110 repair bill for us as part of the new install. They also hooked us up with a 0% 24 month payment plan.
  
  Now on to the install day! The Quickflash install team, led by Bill, arrived right on time as per our schedule. Bill came first to get everything organized, and shortly after people came and went as they were needed. It was like a well oiled machine (maybe they were using some of the left over oil from the tank in my basement)... The oil truck came, pumped out the old oil, they cut the tank up, ripped out the old furnace (RIP), and carried them away. Brought the new furnace in and had that thing gassed and wired before 4pm. The new thermostat was installed and I started playing around with some of the wifi features right away via my phone (Geo-fencing! It is amazing). One thing that I was very surprised about is how clean the install team left everything. The old oil furnace was a notorious mess. The install team was either so good that they didn't drop any ash, oil or dirt... or they cleaned up everything before they were done. Either way, I was surprised. They even brought in work mats to throw over carpet areas. They thought of everything.
  
  All in all, it was a painless day of install. And then they were gone, new furnace blazing, leaving our home just a little more comfortable than before.
